The name Paradise-ception is valid to the beautiful islands of Hawaii as it is a paradise within a paradise as the journey only gets prettier and prettier. From immersion into the local culture, volcano exploration, stunning stargazing, beach life and many adventures in land and water, this is a program of epic proportions. Designed using the expertise of Experiential Education, the program has a unique blend of Nature-Based Learning, Place-Based, Problem-Based and Project-Based Learning to bring out the best within participants and leaving with a sense of overarching awe.
Big Island of Hawaii
There are plenty of unique activities on the Big Island. The journey begins with the exploration of one of the most beautiful places on earth – Volcanoes National Park. Camping, Exploring, and Service Learning with amazing Forest Rangers in the national park is the program initiation. Driving to the Visitors Center of Mauna Kea, which is the best spot in the world for stargazing and least to say the view is nothing short of phenomenal. Experience the waters by observing the ocean’s most gentle and majestic creatures – Manta Rays while snorkeling and enjoy the wonderful beach life on the Big Island.
Cultural O’hau
Explore the capital city of Honolulu, which is a great place to understand the ancient Hawaiian culture to modernity. The Pearl Harbor museum, memorial and other historical site is an excellent way to delve into the history of these beautiful islands. Hike up the Diamond Head to gain a birds-eye perspective.
Evergreen Kauai
Imagine the lushest green space you have seen. Now multiply that by ten times, and that is how evergreen and lovely the island of Kauai is. Hiking and exploring the world-famous Na Pali Coast, encountering plenty of waterfalls and fascinating wildlife. Learning to surf with professional surfers is plenty of fun and an additional skillset to add the arsenal. The epic-ness of Kauai comes alive while visiting the Waimea Canyon State Park as one can truly understand the meaning of ‘Aina – the spiritual connection with the land derived from the original Polynesian settlers.
