The practice of Hinduism was inculcated in India which is not a religion, but a way of life as the goal is to seek truth and access your higher purpose. Similarly, the ancient practices of Buddhism and Jainism also find their roots and origins in India. The religion of Sikhism was founded here as well. The religious practices of Islam, Zoroastrianism, Judaism and Christianity, are a welcome addition to the subcontinent as India is a harmonious melting pot for all religions and traditions.
India gave the world the practices of the Vedas, Puranas, Yoga and Meditation. Any calculations would not be the same without the number ‘zero’ which was invented in India. The mother of all languages – Sanskrit was spoken here as well. The list is lengthy and the more you discover, the more you will be left with amazement.
Besides, India is the largest democracy in the world with 22 official languages and more than 3500 dialects. We are proud of our diversity, as that is the country’s greatest strength. It is truly incredible!
